Esta colaboraci\u00f3n ha generado un conjunto de datos longitudinales de gran valor. En 2017, el personal de la OMT recibi\u00f3 capacitaci\u00f3n en m\u00e9todos de estudio, lo que mejor\u00f3 la eficiencia del programa de monitoreo, ya que la NEPA ahora solo necesita un supervisor para supervisar el monitoreo, mientras que la OMT y el Santuario Marino de Boscobel proporcionan la mayor\u00eda de los recolectores de datos de su personal interno.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El proyecto de desarrollo de capacidades est\u00e1 financiado por el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo, el Fondo para el Medio Ambiente Mundial y el Programa de Peque\u00f1as Donaciones. Hasta la fecha, hemos permitido que m\u00e1s \u00e1reas marinas protegidas (AMP) utilicen un enfoque colaborativo para aumentar la informaci\u00f3n disponible sobre AMP a escala nacional en Jamaica. Hasta la fecha, el proyecto ha facilitado un total de 25 certificaciones en los protocolos Reefcheck y AGRRA con participantes de la NFA, la NEPA y ocho AMP.
