Ce partenariat a permis de constituer un ensemble de donn\u00e9es longitudinales extr\u00eamement pr\u00e9cieux. En 2017, le personnel de l&#039;OMT a \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9 aux m\u00e9thodes de relev\u00e9, ce qui a accru l&#039;efficacit\u00e9 du programme de surveillance. D\u00e9sormais, la NEPA n&#039;a plus qu&#039;\u00e0 fournir un superviseur, l&#039;OMT et le sanctuaire marin de Boscobel assurant la plupart des collectes de donn\u00e9es parmi leurs effectifs internes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce programme de renforcement des capacit\u00e9s est financ\u00e9 par le Programme des Nations Unies pour le d\u00e9veloppement (PNUD), le Fonds pour l&#039;environnement mondial (FEM) et le Programme de microfinancements. \u00c0 ce jour, il a permis \u00e0 un plus grand nombre d&#039;aires marines prot\u00e9g\u00e9es (AMP) d&#039;adopter une approche collaborative afin d&#039;accro\u00eetre les donn\u00e9es disponibles sur les AMP \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9chelle nationale en Jama\u00efque. Le projet a permis \u00e0 25 personnes d&#039;obtenir leur certification aux protocoles Reefcheck et AGRRA, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la participation de la NFA, de la NEPA et de huit AMP.
