La plage de Diablo sert actuellement de lieu de d\u00e9versement et d&#039;entreposage de bateaux hors d&#039;usage, ainsi que d&#039;exploitation de sable. L&#039;UIEA entreprendra un important nettoyage de la plage et s&#039;efforcera d&#039;enlever les d\u00e9bris qui entravent la circulation de l&#039;eau \u00e0 travers la mangrove et favorisent l&#039;accumulation de d\u00e9chets. La zone du projet abrite une mangrove, des oiseaux de rivage migrateurs et d&#039;autres esp\u00e8ces r\u00e9sidentes, ainsi que les plus anciennes s\u00e9pultures datant de pr\u00e8s de 200 ans.
