D\u00e9couvrez l\u2019association Beausejour Eco-Development Association Inc., une organisation non gouvernementale cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 2016 et b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire d\u2019une subvention du GSDTF. Son projet visait \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper un produit d\u2019\u00e9cotourisme, comprenant un plan de gestion des visiteurs pour \u201c\u00a0Dragon Bay\u00a0\u201d \u00e0 Grenade et un circuit touristique historique.<\/p>\n
Beaus\u00e9jour, \u00e0 Saint-Georges, est un grand village situ\u00e9 sur la c\u00f4te ouest de l'\u00eele. La baie et la pointe de Beaus\u00e9jour sont associ\u00e9es au village. Fond\u00e9 en octobre 1649 comme colonie fran\u00e7aise, il s'agissait de la premi\u00e8re expansion de la colonie d'origine, destin\u00e9e \u00e0 soulager les conditions de vie exigu\u00ebs du \u201c Grand Fort \u201d dans la lagune. Cette expansion pourrait avoir d\u00e9but\u00e9 \u00e0 l'emplacement actuel de Mollini\u00e8re (voir Plan de l'avenue et du port de la Grenade<\/em>, 1670, qui identifie la \u201c Chapelle de Beau S\u00e9jour \u201d \u00e0 la pointe Molini\u00e8re, juste au nord de \u201c l'Ance de GrandMasle \u201d). Traduit du fran\u00e7ais, beau s\u00e9jour<\/em> signifie \u201c bel endroit\/s\u00e9jour \u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n L'objectif principal du projet \u00e9tait de pr\u00e9server des sites historiques tels que le site de la r\u00e9bellion de Fedon et les \u00e9tablissements am\u00e9rindiens, tout en d\u00e9veloppant un produit d'\u00e9cotourisme \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 afin d'offrir aux visiteurs une visite historique retra\u00e7ant la chronologie de la riche histoire et des \u00e9v\u00e9nements de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This project highlights the GSDTF\u2019s efforts to support community-led eco-tourism opportunities and development.
