Ce projet renforcera la r\u00e9silience climatique des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes c\u00f4tiers au sein de la zone de protection environnementale de Pointe Sable (PSEPA) et du site historique national de Pigeon Island (PINL) en renfor\u00e7ant les c\u00f4tes et en am\u00e9liorant la gestion et la sant\u00e9 des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes.<\/p>\n
Les \u00e9valuations participatives des mangroves et des r\u00e9cifs permettront de recueillir des informations sur la sant\u00e9, le fonctionnement et les interactions des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes, leur potentiel de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de ressources \u00e9conomiques et environnementales, ainsi que sur l'influence anthropique sur leur fonctionnement. Ces \u00e9valuations orienteront l'\u00e9laboration d'interventions, telles que la d\u00e9limitation, la stabilisation c\u00f4ti\u00e8re, la restauration des habitats et les plans de gestion, qui seront mis en \u0153uvre de mani\u00e8re collaborative. Elles permettront \u00e9galement de formuler des recommandations sur les incitations et\/ou les mesures dissuasives r\u00e9glementaires possibles, favorisant ainsi une utilisation durable des ressources et le respect des mesures de protection c\u00f4ti\u00e8re et marine. Les \u00e9valuations et les formations relatives aux \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes renforceront les capacit\u00e9s des usagers des ressources et des communaut\u00e9s \u00e0 contribuer aux mesures de restauration des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes, \u00e0 installer des infrastructures vertes, \u00e0 entretenir les infrastructures grises qui am\u00e9liorent la performance et la r\u00e9silience des syst\u00e8mes naturels d'adaptation au changement climatique (solutions hybrides), et \u00e0 assurer des moyens de subsistance durables.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
