L&#039;installation, pilot\u00e9e par les communaut\u00e9s, de solutions de restauration \u00e9cologique (SRE) permettra de r\u00e9duire les facteurs de d\u00e9gradation dans les zones de montagne, de pr\u00e9server les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes et leurs services, et de cr\u00e9er des opportunit\u00e9s de revenus fond\u00e9es sur la nature.<\/p>\n<p>This project scales and replicates proven VS solutions in four countries. Our Vetiver Education & Empowerment Project (VEEP) model comprises in-class workshops with field training; soil and water protection and rehabilitation demonstration; integration with existing beneficial land management techniques; co-production and dissemination of educational materials within and beyond the community; vetiver nursery establishment; handicraft training with exploration of other uses of the vetiver plant, led by key \u2018champions\u2019 within target communities; and the development of green business opportunities to offer value-added VS products and services.
