Le projet EMPAC (Effective Marine Protected Area Activities for the Caribbean) vise \u00e0 soutenir des interventions dans au moins deux domaines cl\u00e9s\u00a0: the regional political engagement support towards the 30\u00d730 ambition<\/strong>, et le lancement d'une installation de gestion de la faune et de la flore marines de la CBF con\u00e7ue en collaboration avec les parties prenantes carib\u00e9ennes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collaboration with all relevant stakeholders in the region as this will be essential to the management of Marine Managed and Marine Protected Areas. Identifying policy makers who can make conscious decisions based on reliable and comprehensive data then advance the development of regional MPA policy frameworks and initiatives aligned with the 30\u00d730 ocean conservation target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comment EMPAC contribuera-t-elle ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Facilitate discussions with policy makers and other stakeholders for the designation, implementation and expansion of regional MPAs to advance local and regional actions towards the achievement of the 30\u00d730 ocean conservation target within the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By 2025, a regional platform that advances political support for the 30\u00d730 political Call to Action is implemented in the Caribbean region, locking in regional high-level collaboration within the Caribbean Challenge Initiative (CCI) and CBF political network therefore, catalyzing the development of regional MPA policy frameworks and initiatives aligned with the 30\u00d730 ambition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Financement durable r\u00e9gional \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle pour les AMP<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Pour d\u00e9velopper un m\u00e9canisme de financement des AMP gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une collaboration avec la CBF favorisant l'investissement dans les activit\u00e9s r\u00e9gionales et nationales li\u00e9es aux AMP, les m\u00e9canismes nationaux de financement durable sont identifi\u00e9s et les capacit\u00e9s de mise en \u0153uvre sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es, puis les connaissances r\u00e9gionales sur les m\u00e9canismes de financement appropri\u00e9s pour am\u00e9liorer l'efficacit\u00e9 de la gestion sont partag\u00e9es et reproduites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
