FGPC focuses on creating opportunities for residents in the tourism areas and the Southeast Reefs Marine Sanctuary (SAMAR), while promoting innovative solutions to preserve the region\u2019s unique ecosystems. For over 30 years, the foundation has tackled environmental challenges through pilot and demonstration projects, many of which have been successfully scaled and replicated nationally and internationally. With a focus on practical, results-driven approaches, particularly around tourism and development, FGPC addresses issues ranging from solid waste management and coral reef conservation to the protection of endangered species and the creation of private ecological reserves.
