Cette approbation ouvre la voie \u00e0 des discussions plus approfondies entre le FBC et la Dominique concernant la faisabilit\u00e9 et la pertinence d&#039;un Fonds national fiduciaire pour la conservation (FNFC) en Dominique.<br \/>\nL&#039;\u00e9quipe de MARENA, dirig\u00e9e par l&#039;ing\u00e9nieure Judith Valdez en tant que directrice ex\u00e9cutive, s&#039;engage \u00e0 remplir ses fonctions conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la loi 64-00 qui a institu\u00e9 l&#039;organisme. MARENA poursuit ses efforts pour renforcer l&#039;institution et se conformer aux directives du gouvernement et du pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique dominicaine, Luis Abinader, en mettant en \u0153uvre une politique nationale globale de conservation et de protection de l&#039;environnement.<br \/>\nMARENA a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour d\u00e9velopper et financer des programmes et des projets de protection, de conservation, de recherche, d&#039;\u00e9ducation, de restauration et d&#039;utilisation durable de l&#039;environnement et des ressources naturelles, au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice des communaut\u00e9s et des populations. Il s&#039;agit d&#039;un fonds de dotation l\u00e9gal et ind\u00e9pendant, dot\u00e9 de sa propre administration et de sa propre juridiction sur l&#039;ensemble du territoire de la R\u00e9publique dominicaine.
