Axel Krumsiek is a Project Manager – Marine Ecoregions at WWF Germany, holding responsibility for the marine project portfolio development in Latin America and the Pacific. He has supported the design and initiation of a project focusing on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction through sustainable mangrove management in the Pacific island nations of Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
