Maria Pena is the Project Assistant at the Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies (CERMES) University of the West Indies (UWI) with over 20 years’ experience in natural resources management. Her interests are in the biological and socio-economic aspects of marine resource management. She has implemented and managed numerous externally funded marine resource management projects.
