Descripción general del proyecto
Remediación costera comunitaria en las dos naciones más grandes del Caribe insular: Cuba y República Dominicana
Cuba, Dominican Republic
This project built ecological and community resilience in Cuba and the Dominican Republic through mangrove restoration, coral propagation, Sargassum composting, and community-centered ecosystem-based adaptation planning. Technical exchange between the two countries strengthened restoration practice, while work with farmers and coastal communities supported sustainable livelihoods and reduced land-based pressures on marine ecosystems.
