Aperçu du projet
Renforcement de la résilience communautaire et adaptation écosystémique aux changements climatiques dans certaines communautés de la côte ouest de Grenade
Grenade
This project expanded the coral nursery programme within the Gouyave Marine Protected Area through a community-based approach. Volunteers were trained to restore degraded reefs by designing, building, and deploying artificial reef structures for coral propagation. The project also assessed and restored riparian zones in three watersheds flowing into the protected area, strengthened long-term management capacity, updated habitat assessments and the management plan, and engaged fishers in environmental best practices and seamanship.
