Assuring Ecological Connectivity and Community Resilience through Nature Based Solutions in Selected Areas in Jamaica and Grenada

This project strengthens ecological connectivity and community resilience in selected landscapes in Jamaica and Grenada through nature-based solutions. It links ecosystem restoration, climate-risk reduction, community preparedness, livelihood resilience, and participatory planning to improve the ability of vulnerable communities and connected ecosystems to withstand climate impacts.
Objectifs clés
- Restore and connect priority ecosystems in selected Jamaican and Grenadian landscapes
- Reduce climate and disaster risks using community-centered nature-based solutions
- Strengthen community preparedness, participation, and resilient livelihoods
- Improve coordination, knowledge sharing, and long-term management of restoration interventions
