Saint Lucia National Conservation Fund (SLUNCF): Creation of Artificial Reefs and Coral Restoration along the Northwest Coast of St. Lucia

This project supported marine ecosystem restoration and sustainable tourism development along the northwest coast of Saint Lucia through the creation of artificial reefs, coral restoration activities, and marine skills training. The initiative was designed to improve reef habitat and expand diving and snorkeling opportunities while building local technical capacity in marine conservation. Artificial reefs were created using deliberately sunk vessels and coral restoration structures, helping to create new habitat for marine species and diversify tourism sites in northern Saint Lucia.
