The project goal is the promotion of ecotourism based on environmental education and awareness of visitors, around the conservation units of the National System of Protected Areas (SINAP) of the Dominican Republic.

Educational campaigns and outreach activities have been implemented across several protected areas, increasing awareness of conservation among visitors and stakeholders. Visitor infrastructure improvements are ongoing.
