Our work in Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia’s rainforests provide clean water, and its reefs protect the coast and sustain fisheries. These ecosystems are the basis of the island’s resilience and prosperity.

The CBF helped establish the Saint Lucia National Conservation Fund and formalised our partnership in 2017. The SLUNCF has since backed 27 projects with around US$1.8 million, from coral reef rehabilitation to climate resilient sea moss farming.

In 2024, the SLUNCF and the CBF hosted the RedLAC Congress, the first time it was held in the English speaking Caribbean.
