The Advancing Circular Economy (ACE) Facility funds projects that apply circular economy principles to stop waste reaching the sea, or to remove marine litter that is already there. It gives priority to projects that show:
01
Direct impact on reducing marine pollution
02
Circular approaches to solid waste management
03
Regional collaboration
04
Long term sustainability
Grantees are selected through competitive calls for proposals. NGOs, universities, public institutions, community groups and private companies can all apply.

The facility focuses on nine countries: Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Selected through the ACE Facility’s first Call for Proposals, these projects demonstrate scalable circular economy interventions that address marine litter and plastic pollution across Caribbean Small Island Developing States. Through innovation, stakeholder engagement, and investment in local value chains, ACE grantees are delivering measurable reductions in waste leakage while strengthening economic resilience and environmental protection.
