Anne-Isabelle Bonifassi

Director

Anne-Isabelle Bonifassi is a Director on the CBF Board of Directors. Anne-Isabelle’s passion for protecting the environment and restoring Haiti’s biodiversity prompted her to work at Haiti National Trust/Société Audubon Haiti where she currently serves as Executive Director. She has previously resided in Mali, Côte d’Ivoire, French Guyana and Vietnam, exposing her to various ecosystems and cementing her passion for conservation and socio-ecological resilience. She obtained her degrees in biology, agronomy, and her MBA in Canada, and has more than a decade of management and leadership experience in Haitian non-profit organizations and for-profit companies. Throughout her years, she successfully developed, implemented, and evaluated projects and innovative strategies, contributing to collaborative efforts to conserve Haiti’s threatened wildlife and ecosystems. These activities have been in partnership with local communities, national and international non-governmental organizations, and governmental organizations. Anne-Isabelle is fluent in French, English and Haitian Creole and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Haiti Biodiversity Fund.
