Call for Proposals

The Caribbean Biodiversity Fund awards grant funding through its Advancing Circular Economy (ACE) and Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) Facilities.

The ACE Facility will award grants through a competitive call for proposals mechanism and is expected to provide sustainable finance for up to 20 individual projects that will be executed until the end of its operations in 2028. The projects are expected to apply circular principles to prevent waste from entering the marine environment or removing marine litter.

The EbA Facility has committed USD 45.4 million to the implementation of the 34 projects under the four calls for proposals. Successful projects show a clear EbA focus—the use of biodiversity and ecosystem services as part of an overall adaptation strategy to help people to adapt to the adverse effects of climate change.
