Caribbean Biodiversity Fund’s Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) Facility has committed USD 22 million to the implementation of the 19 projects under the first two calls for proposals, with another USD 14 million earmarked for the approved projects from the 3rd call for proposals. An additional USD 14 million could be allocated under this Fourth Call for Proposals, depending on the number and quality of applications received.
Successful projects need to show a clear EbA focus—the use of biodiversity and ecosystem services as part of an overall adaptation strategy to help people to adapt to the adverse effects of climate change.
