With a degree in Biology, her professional career has been forged in integrated ecosystem management and environmental projects, including transboundary watershed management projects.
Her experience in non-profit organizations and international cooperation has crystallized into a unique ability to address environmental challenges from diverse perspectives, covering key areas such as biodiversity, sustainable forest development, and agroforestry. Over the last 18 years, her focus has evolved toward watershed management, reforestation/restoration projects, and awareness about the impact of endangered species. She has a strong track record, including participating in projects funded by entities such as USAID, World Bank, GEF, BMZ, and the European Union. Her skills extend to project formulation and evaluation and technical report writing. She has exceptional skills in communication, leadership, and multi-level strategic alliances. She is a professional committed to sustainability and climate change adaptation and is a founding and board member of two highly recognized environmental NGOs in the Dominican Republic.
