Shanna Prevost

Program Officer, EbA Facility

Shanna Prevost is a development professional with over 15 years of experience working on a wide range of projects in the Caribbean in the areas of agriculture, disaster recovery, climate change and gender. A native of the commonwealth of Dominica and based in Trinidad and Tobago, Shanna has worked with national, regional and international organisations such as the Trinidad and Tobago Agribusiness Association (TTABA), the Caribbean Agricultural Research Institute (CARDI), the University of the West Indies Faculty of Food and Agriculture (UWI FFA) St. Augustine, the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). One of her proudest (and most humbling) career moments was using her project management skills to implement an Emergency Employment Programme in her homeland, Dominica, after the country was struck by a category five hurricane in 2017. Shanna is passionate about contributing to regional development through project management and by supporting policymakers, communities, and vulnerable populations to become more climate and environmentally resilient. She holds a BSc. Management from UWI Cave Hill Barbados, and an MSc. Agricultural Diversification from UWI St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago.
