This consultancy’s main objectives are to (i) review and revise the CBF’s ESMS considering the operationalization and implementation of the ACE Facility and EbA Facility and (ii) provide the requisite training and capacity building to the CBF’s ACE and EbA Facility teams, related to the use and implementation of the revised ESMS (including requisite templates and guidance required for effective support to the project grantees). In collaboration with staff of the Programs, the Consultant(s) will conduct a critical review of the requirements, review the CBF’s ESMS and revise the ESMS to ensure that the grants and projects approved and financed by the Facilities will bring about environmental and social benefits and avoid, minimize, and mitigate environmental and social risks and negative impacts. The revised ESMS will be used to ensure that the requisite systems are implemented, reflected, and reported on during future implementation activities under the guidance of the ACE Facility Program staff. The maximum budget for this consultancy is USD 20,000.
