MAR+Invest and MARTAF Coordinator, Mesoamerican Reef Fund

Amy is an engineer from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) with a Master’s in Bioengineering. She has extensive experience in business development and product management, having worked with one of Switzerland’s leading startups dedicated to advancing technologies for medical applications. This background has provided her with a deep understanding of innovation, technology transfer, stakeholder collaboration and strategic development within the biomedical industry.

Since 2023, Amy leverages her expertise to make a broader environmental impact as she leads the MAR+Invest initiative to advance marine conservation through innovative blended finance solutions. This initiative convenes a partnership of regional experts to mobilize private capital into the Blue Economy of the MAR. Amy also serves as the coordinator of the Mesoamerican Reef Technical Assistance Facility (MARTAF), where she supports reef-positive market initiatives and enterprises across the Mesoamerican Reef region.
