Kieran St Omer is Senior Project Officer and Programme Lead for Greening the Financial System at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB). She brings over 15 years of regional and international experience in banking, capital markets, regulation, fintech, energy and climate finance and project management.
In her current role she leads several strategic initiatives including the World Bank-financed Caribbean Resilient Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment Facility, the ECCU Green Finance Strategy, and efforts to enhance money and capital market development. Her contribution to notable initiatives geared towards ramping-up green investments and finance for more private-sector-led low-carbon development in the region also include the Global Green Growth Institute Green and affordable housing project.
She is a 2018 Graduate Scholar of the IFC-Milken Institute Capital Market Development Fellowship programme at George Washington University School of Business, during which she interned at global private equity firm Clayton, Dublier & Rice in New York. Miss St Omer holds a BSc honors degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of the West Indies.
