Mr. Bannister is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund and Chair of the Bahamas Protected Areas Fund. He is presently a Member of the Board/Council of Colina Insurance, Bahamas National Trust and Bahamas Reef Environment and Educational Foundation. He is also a member of Bayroc Condo. Mgt. Co. Ltd. and St. Francis Men’s Association. He was a Former President of the Bahamas National Trust – serving six terms. He was also the Founding Chairman of the Inagua Development Association; Distinguished Past President Kiwanis Club Inagua; Past Director of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and the Bahamas Employers Confederation, and a Past Member of the Young Presidents Organization. He has five children and enjoys tennis and gardening.
