
Janine Boodram
Program Officer, ACE Facility
Janine Boodram is a Project Management Professional with over eight years of
experience in the chemicals and waste cluster in the Caribbean. Following her pursuit of
a combined BSc/MSc programme in Chemistry with Biomedicine at King’s College
London, she kicked off her professional career at the Environmental Management
Authority in Trinidad and Tobago. There, she contributed to the development of national
legislation on waste management. She then progressed towards environmental project
management at the regional level and directly supported fifteen Caribbean countries
with the implementation of UN treaties related to chemicals and waste. An ardent ocean
lover, Janine is enthusiastic about collaborating with stakeholders to deliver tangible
solutions to mitigate marine pollution and protect coastal communities via regionally
suitable circular economy initiatives.
