For 30 years, the French Global Environment Facility (FFEM) has focused on environmental innovation. By funding pilot projects in developing countries, it takes concrete action to preserve biodiversity, the climate, land, water, and the ozone layer, and combat pollution. Its ambition: to test solutions, prove their impact, and scale them up. A partner of public, private, and civil society stakeholders, the FFEM has supported more than 400 projects in 120 countries, mostly in Africa and the Mediterranean, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.
