Kristin Gunnarsdóttir von Kistowski

Kristin Gunnarsdóttir von Kistowski is a Senior Fisheries Expert at the World Bank. Previousy, she directed the Marine Programme of WWF Germany. In this role, she led the ocean related work in European Waters, the Southwest Indian Ocean, the Caribbean and the Coral Triangle. Prior to joining WWF, she developed and implemented projects on ocean conservation and sustainable fisheries for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UN FAO) and other international NGOs in Africa, the Caribbean and Southeast Asia. She is a biologist by training and holds a Doctorate from the University of Kiel, Germany.
