
Louise Mitchell
Director
Louise Mitchell is the founder and principal of Louise Mitchell and Associates, founded in 2007.
Prior to this she worked in financial regulation for many years, heading the International
Financial Services Authority of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, now the FSA.
She is a Vincentian patriot with a passion for Vincentian heritage and environment, and in
particular ocean conservation and sustainable fisheries. She headed the St. Vincent and the
Grenadines National Trust for many years and is currently Chair of the National Trust Heritage
Fund. She is a co-founder of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Environment Fund and
President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Conservation Fund. She is the Vice Chair of the
Bequia Heritage Foundation.
She hails from the island of Bequia in the Grenadines but has made her home on the mainland.
She’s the mother of three children.
Ms. Mitchell is the Honorary Consul of Finland to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
She’s the author of Unearthing the History of Argyle, a story about the preservation of heritage
in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
